Celebrity hairstylist Bryce Scarlett reveals six of his top tips and tricks

Margot Robbie's hairstylist details his top styling tips and tricks, revealing the expert way to apply dry shampoo without white marks, and how to use LIP BALM to tame pesky flyaways
  • Bryce Scarlett, from San Diego, has worked with dozens of A-list celebrities including Gigi Hadid, Lily Aldridge, Brie Larson and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley
  • The Moroccanoil ambassador shared his tips for removing white marks created by dry shampoo, creating instant volume and taming flyaway hairs
  • He also revealed how to create a ponytail that has dimension, as well as creating the illusion of having more hair on the crown of the head
  • A celebrity hairstylist who has worked with a slew of A-li sters, from Margot Robbie and Brie Larson to Gigi Hadid and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, has shared his favorite styling tricks.

San Diego native Bryce Scarlett, who is an ambassador for Moroccanoil, revealed tips including how to get the best results from dry shampoo, to how to create a perfect ponytail.

The stylist also shared his best tips for creating the illusion of a more defined hairline, as well as the trick to creating instant volume in one's hair.

Professional: Celebrity hairstylist Bryce Scarlett, as seen styling Margot Robbie's hair, has unveiled some of his top hair care and styling tips and tricks

Remove white spots created by dry shampoo

Although dry shampoo is typically used by spraying the product into one's hair before massaging it into the scalp or brushing it through, this can result in white spots on hair.

To get rid of such marks, Bryce uses a completely different method to apply the product.

He advises others to spray the dry shampoo onto your hairbrush and then apply it, as he says this will distribute product more evenly and avoid getting white spots.

Create the illusion of having more volume at the crown of the head

To create the illusion that one has more hair at the crown of their head, Bryce has a simple method.

The stylist recommend doing some 'light teasing' and spraying a dry texture spray into the hair that has been teased.

As a result, the hair will remain more firmly in place than if hairspray was used.

Achieve a ponytail that has dimension

Creating the perfect ponytail isn't always the easiest task.

However, Bryce's tip for achieving an up-do that has more dimension involves just three simple steps.

To begin, the stylist says to leave out a triangle-shaped section at the top of the head, before gathering the base of your hair into a ponytail.

Next, secure the base of the ponytail with a hair tie. Pull the top section of hair back, and secure it into the ponytail using a clear hair elastic.

Methods: To create the appearance of having more volume at the crown of the head, Bryce, pictured with Lily Aldridge, he recommends teasing the hair lightly

Create the illusion of a more defined hairline

Bryce revealed that creating the illusion that one has a more defined hairline can be achieved with just two products.

The San Diego native said al l that is needed is a brow powder that matches the shade of your hair, and a small brush.

He said to work the product into the hair with the brush, filling in any gaps on the scalp.

As a result, hair will appear more even and look more full, according to the stylist.

Pro tip! In order to achieve volume in the hair, Bryce recommends teasing the hair at the crown and around the mid-lengths of the hair

Easily tame flyaway hairs using products from your handbag

Hot, summer weather can often mean that hair can become frizzy or lose its style.

However, Bryce revealed two different products, which can be kept in a handbag and brought with you on the go, that help with taming flyaway hair.

He said: 'A disposable mascara wand can be magic!'

Bryce advised using the wand as a brush to comb down and pesky hairs.

The stylist also recommended using a lip balm to tame flyaway hairs when going from a day to nighttime look.

'Lip balm can also tame flyaways on a day-to-night slicked back ponytail,' he said.

'Use the mascara wand to comb it in to hair neatly,' Bryce added.

    Achieve instantaneous volume and texture

Creating volume can be a tough task if hair is naturally flat.

However, Bryce swears by a two-step trick to ensure a more voluminous appearance.

He recommends teasing the hair using a boar bristle brush at the crown and around the mid-lengths of the hair.

Next, he advises spraying a texture spray - his favorite being the Mor occanoil Dry Texture Spray - into the teased sections of the hair, which he says helps to create instant volume.

The beauty pro added that dry texture spray can often work better than hairspray when it comes to creating long-lasting, voluminous hairstyles, because it has 'more grit' to it, and will help the hair to stay in place for longer.

Why you need to try a clarifying shampoo

© Provided by Cover Media Ltd

For most of us, our haircare regime consists of shampoo, conditioner and the odd hair mask.

But does your hair sometimes look dull or lacklustre despite using your regular products? It may be time to consider investing in a clarifying shampoo, as the formulas have been created to remove all build-up from the strands.

"A clarifying shampoo works to detoxify the hair and remove product build-up, excess sebum, hard water minerals, and environmental pollutants from the hair," Mark Woolley, hairstylist, founder and creative director of Electric London, told us. "It is great to be used before a colour service and before using a hair mask as it will allow the hair colour or hair mask to penetrate deeper into the hair shaft. Your hair will be left clean, fresh and healthy with a deeply cleansed scalp."

A clarifying shampoo can be used on all hair types, but dry or very curly locks won't need cleansing as regularly.

"For dry hair and very curly hair, I'd recommend only using a clarifying shampoo a couple of times a month, and for all other hair types it can be used one a week," the expert commented.

Some great options to check out include MONAT's Clarifying Shampoo, featuring a sulphate-free formula which detoxifies without stripping or drying, Christophe Robin's Clarifying Shampoo with Camomile and Cornflower, which can also help to revive highlights, OUAI Clean Shampoo, or Moroccanoil's Clarifying Shampoo, a product rich in argan and avocado oils, keratin, lavender, and jojoba extracts.

Once your shampoo is fully washed out of the hair, also be sure to use a hydrating conditioner or mask.

"I would recommend following up with a hydrating conditioner or mask to restore hydration to your hair, the Electric C-1 Intensive Treatment Masque is a lightweight, conditioning treatment designed to restore hair back to health. Full of moisturising lipids, vegetable proteins and wheat germ oil. Which locks in moisture, the masque will leave your hair supremely smooth and glossy," added Mark.

15 Best Shampoos for Dry Hair That Will Give Your Locks Their Shine Back

A good hair day is unbeatable. But the process to finally nailing down the perfect hairstyle can wreak havoc on your hair. All that heat styling, coloring and brushing can lead to hair that's dry, damaged and way too weak. Even washing your hair too much or washing it with shampoos that are too harsh can lead to hair damage. Though it can be really annoying to have hair that's too oily, hair that's too dry can also be a major problem. Not only can it appear frizzy and dull, but dry hair is more prone to damage that can slow its growth. Hair that's too dry has lost its elasticity, making it a lot more prone to breakage. In fact, it's normal for your hair to be a little oily. Your body produces healthy, natural oils that are most noticeable in the outer layer of your hair, but work to protect its inner layers. These oils are also what give your hair its natural shine. Losing that shine is a sign that something's up. That's why it's important to avoid over-washing and using the wrong products since you don't want to strip your hair of its natural moisture. In certain cases, dry hair can also point to an underlying health issue, so if you feel something's off in your body, it's probably best to consult a doctor. But if you know that your dry hair is the result of your styling choices, then there are steps you can take to reverse the damage. The first is choosing a shampoo that will hydrate your hair to the max, helping it regain its precious natural oils. If you're unsure of what shampoo you should get, here's a list of some of the best shampoos for dry hair.

1 Herbal Essences Bio:Renew Coconut Milk Shampoo

If you're tired of split ends, then this shampoo from Herbal Essences is a life-saver. It's made with real botanicals that infuse moisture into your hair from its root to its tip. The fatty acids in coconut milk can also soothe and restore a dry scalp.

2 L'Oreal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Oil Shampoo

Get your glow back with this hydrating shampoo from Maui Moisture. Its blend of aloe vera, coconut water and macadamia oils will repair your split ends, while hydrating your strands from root to tip.

    7 R+Co Atlantis Moisturizing B5 Shampoo

The vitamin E found in the prickly pear stem extract used in this shampoo from R+Co will help your hair strike a moisture balance that's not too oily, but not too dry. You'll end up with hair that's smooth and strong enough for your next styling session.

    8 Morroccanoil Moisture Repair Shampoo

The Moisture Repair Shampoo from Moroccanoil is made with a load of super-hydrating natural ingredients like argan oil, lavender and jojoba extracts. It's perfect for dry hair that's experienced damage from color treatments or chemical processing.

10 Oribe Shampoo for Moisture & Control

This shampoo is formulated for those with thick and curly hair that needs some extra hydration. The amino acids and panthenol in its formula fight off damage, while helping your hair retain its moisture.

11 Amika The Kure Repair Shampoo

The Best Shampoos and Conditioners, According to Our Editors

"I switch on and off between two different shampoos because I read that always using the same one can cause buildup and make it less effective over time. I have straight, fine hair so I try my best to use only the most gentle products. I love Briogeo's gingseng shampoo because it smells amazing and it's sulfate-free. The formula also contains biotin, which helps to grow hair and that's something I currently need since my hair has been shedding like crazy.

I wash my hair every other day, but if I have back-to-back washes (i.e. I worked out on Monday and Tuesday) I use—surprise!—baby shampoo for day two. It cleans my hair really well and if it's safe/gentle enough for babies, it's definitely good for my thin hair.

The one thing I have not used since high school is conditioner. I found that no matter what brand I try, my hair feels greasy the next day even though I just washed it the night before." —Marina Liao, Fashion Editor

The 5 Best Dry Shampoos For Blonde Hair

Dry shampoo may not have been part of your hair routine for as long as actual shampoo has been, but in its swift rise to the top, it has certainly earned a place on the essentials list. Not only can it help a days-old blowout last longer, but a good dry shampoo also absorbs grease, adds volume, and even leaves your hair smelling fresher. There's just one catch. They don't always blend in with your hair color. That's where this guide to the best dry shampoo for blonde hair comes in.

While finding a dry shampoo for blonde hair is definitely easier than it is for darker hair tones, it still has its own set of complications. You don't want something with a full-on white cast that's going to dull golden blonde hair and take it into gray territory, but you also don't want to use a blonde-tinted dry shampoo that will give platinum colors a yellow finish. That's why, as a general rule of thumb, platinum and icy blonde shades will want to look for a dry shampoo with a violet tint, while warmer blonde tones (think honey and caramel) will want to go for golden or yellow tints. When in doubt, you can always opt for a totally neutral dry shampoo that applies clear.

Whether you go for a tinted option or one that's completely colorless, applying dry shampoo remains largely the same. You'll want to shake the can before you use it and hold it 6 to 10 inches away from your head as you spray it at the roots. Let it sit for at least two minutes before brushing it out or hitting hair with a blow-dryer. But if your hair is especially oily, you may want to apply your dry shampoo at night (and very generously), allowing it to work its oil-absorbing magic while you sleep.

Now, scroll on to discover five of the best dry shampoos for blonde hair.

    1. The Best Tinted Dry Shampoo For Platinum Blonde Hair

    Moroccanoil Dry Shampoo Light Tones

    See On Amazon

You're all about the color-depositing purple shampoos and conditioners when it comes to washing your hair, so why not add the same yellow-neutralizing powers to your dry shampoo? This Moroccanoil dry shampoo does just that with its unique formula that contains violet undertones to enhance platinum and lighter blonde hair colors. Also taking into consideration the fact that bleached hair is more fragile, Moroccanoil added argan oil to the formula to help restore moisture, and the dry shampoo even offers UV protection from the sun (which can also dry out and discolor blonde hair). Beyond its color-friendly formula, this dry shampoo contains rice starch to absorb oil and odors so your hair looks and smells clean even if you're going on day four without a wash.

    2. The Best Tinted Dry Shampoo For Warmer Blonde Tones

    Batiste Dry Shampoo Brilliant Blonde

    See On Amazon

If your blonde hair is on the golden, honey, or caramel side, Batiste's dry shampoo in Brilliant Blonde will blend in seamlessly. The brand has been at the forefront of dry shampoo innovations for ages, offering dozens of options when it comes to tints and scents. In this formula, rice starch absorbs oil and odor, as a blend of bergamot, white peach, and vanilla leaves hair smelling slightly sweet. Though Batiste also says it works on platinum blonde tones, several users noted that the tint was too yellow for cooler blonde shades. But for all you warmer-hued blondes, this dry shampoo also doubles as root cover up. "The blonde version helps cover my roots when they've grown out a bit and I haven't been able to get highlights yet," commented one Amazon reviewer.

    3. The Best Volumizing Dry Shampoo For Blondes

    R+Co Death Valley Dry Shampoo

    See On Amazon

For limp blonde hair that could use a lift, dry shampoo is as much of an essential for adding volume as it is for getting rid of grease. The R+Co Death Valley Dry Shampoo sprays on clear and doesn't leave any residue behind. This luxe option has the best scent of any dry shampoo I've yet to try, thanks in part to notes of bergamot, lotus flower, and tonka beans. Silica is the main oil-absorber here, but R+Co loaded up this formula with several other high-performing ingredients which can actually improve your hair's health. In addition to adding volume, rice protein strengthens hair, imparts shine, and reduces tangles; then, provitamin B5 thickens, conditions, and further volumizes hair, while vitamin E smooths out frizz and enhances shine.

    4. The Best Dry Shampoo For Damaged Blonde Hair & Sensitive Scalps

Klorane Dry Shampoo With Oat Milk

    See On Amazon

If all that bleach has taken a toll on your hair and scalp, you'll want a dry shampoo that contains soothing ingredients (but also, give your hair a break from hot tools and styling products in favor of some nourishing masks, OK?). The Klorane Dry Shampoo With Oat Milk, a cult-classic French pharmacy buy, is soothing and moisturizing, thanks to oat milk's anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Other ingredients, like corn starch and rice starch, help cleanse hair of excess oil without drying out your scalp and hair in the process.

    5. The Best Dry Shampoo Powder For Blondes

    Verb Dry Shampoo

    See On Amazon

You don't have to use a spray-on dry shampoo to get hair that's refreshed and slightly volumized minus any stark white residue. Verb's dry shampoo is a loose powder formula that lets you squeeze a more concentrated amount of dry shampoo right where you want it. Tapioca starch absorbs oil, glycerin helps soften hair and retain moisture, and a combination of fruit extracts, including goji and bilberry, provide hair-protecting antioxidants. Plus, since it doesn't come in an aerosol bottle, it's TSA-approved for travel.

We tried the miracle new Moroccanoil Color Complete Collection that helps your hair colour last longer – and now we're hooked

moroccanoil In partnership with Moroccanoil September 17, 2018 - 09:36 BST Carla Challis The revolutionary collection is scientifically proven to boost the life of your hair colour - so we put it to the test to find out

Fresh, vibrant hair colour is always in style but even if you spend hours in the salon chair having a colourist tend to your strands, your colour can still be prone to fade. External aggressors like the over-use of heated styling tools, pollution and even the weather can all have an effect on your crowning glory. Not to mention your hair's health – if it's not fighting fit, it's not going to fight the fade.

Enter the new Moroccanoil Color Complete Collection; this collection takes a 360-degree approach to colour care, combatting all sources of colour degradation with an easy-to-follow regimen. It begins in the salon with the ChromaTech in-salon service, a two-pronged attack; ChromaTech PRIME, infused with ArganID™ is applied before hair colour application to increase colour deposit, and ChromaTech POST for after, which uses COLORLINK™ technology to help rebuild crosslinks in the damaged hair structure and traps the colour within. Plus, it forms a protective shield to help prevent hair colour washout. Then it's time for you to take the reins with a 3-step at-home routine to prolong your hair colour, including a shampoo, conditioner and daily spray.

The only way for us to really see if the Moroccanoil Color Complete Collection truly works is to test it out for ourselves. So we asked three members of the HELLO! team to give the in-salon service a go and spend a month using the 3-step at-home regimen to see how their hair colour fared. Here's how they got on:

    The girl-on-the-go

Elle Sixsmith, HELLO!'s beauty writer: "Being on the go 24/7, my beauty ritual usually comes down to having to choose between hair or makeup and makeup always wins. My fine strands are left looking sad, straw-like and brassy as regular colour appointments go out the window in favour of a throw-it-up approach. "I've always had a no-frills approach to my mane maintenance, however one thing that has been a constant in my regimen has been Moroccanoil Treatment. It has saved my hair from near destruction many a time, but there's only so much an oil can do when it comes to colour fade. Which is why I jumped at the chance to be one of the first to try the Color Complete Collection.

"My colourist suggested super-fine multi-tonal highlights in honey hues for a sun-kissed feel – sounds dreamy. I left the salon armed with the new Color Complete Collection and the glossiest hair of my life. I was told to use the Moroccanoil Color Continue Shampoo and Conditioner for every wash and the Moroccanoil Hydrating Mask Light weekly for an intensive treatment. With my hair having a tendency to feel Sahara dry, I even added a few drops of the Moroccanoil Treatment to the mask and wrapped my hair in cling film whilst I watched TV.

"A month later and my hair has never looked so glossy and shiny. As it's so much healthier and hydrated, daily styling with the Moroccanoil Boar Bristle Round Brush has become quicker and more manageable and my daily battle with frizz has been halved. I was initially daunted at the prospect of adding even more steps to my already full beauty regimen, but with just a few extra minutes in the morning my colour has remained as vibrant as it did the day I left the salon. I've truly been converted and there's no doubt I'll be keeping it up for good!"

    The busy mum-of-two

Sophie Vokes-Dudgeon, Head of Digital at HELLO! Online: "As a working mum of two, something has to give, and usually it's my appearance that falls down the priority list. I hate that it's the case – I feel more confident in every aspect of life when I look my best. So when my colourist insisted that a daily dose of the Moroccanoil Protect & Prevent Spray could extend my hair colour for not weeks, but months – a colour in July might not need topping up until just before Christmas - it sounded too good to be true.

"The Moroccanoil ChromaTech services in the salon were glorious. They smell divine and I love how the oil works on hair to rehydrate and really sink into the shaft, rather than hang around on the outside and look greasy. Sure enough, my post-colour results were impressive - but who doesn't feel a million dollars after a 3-hour pamper sesh in a salon? The truth would really be seen in the following months.

"It took me a little while to get into the habit of using the spray every day. In the end I left it by my toothpaste so I remembered to give my hair a good spritz each morning after every shower. It definitely made my often-untameable frizz much more manageable, and the fact that it smelt gorgeous meant it so was no hardship to do daily.

"Every wash, I used Moroccanoil Color Continue Shampoo and alternated the Color Continue Conditioner with the Moroccanoil Intense Hydrating Mask, as my hair can get quite dry. Hair treatments always seem a step too far when I'm getting ready for the school run, but my colourist had explained that if I applied it after washing my hair, and then washed my body, by the time I was ready to get out, I could take the mask off too, so it didn't really take any extra time at all.

"A month in, and the results have surpassed my sceptical expectations massively. As I inspected my hair this morning, my colour has remained vibrant and intact, still covering up the grey that has recently started appearing. Considering that an emergency messy bun usually becomes a necessity at 6 weeks post-colour it's really astounding. And my hair, religiously treated with two squirts of Moroccanoil Hydrating Styling Cream and two squirts of Moroccanoil Treatment after each wash, has never been more lush and manageable.

"I consider myself incredibly low maintenance when it comes to beauty, so did question whether I'd even I'd be able to commit to a multi-product hair regimen and probably would not have done without this challenge. But if I can save the time (and money!) of a whole colour session between now and Christmas, by doing something that takes a few seconds each morning, I'm in!"

    The beauty influencer

Alex Light, HELLO!'s beauty influencer: "I've been dyeing my hair since the age of 16 (I'm now 30!) and while I've often left the salon feeling great about my colour, it's invariably a different story a few months in when toner wears off and I'm left with those pesky yellow, brassy shades that seem to haunt me. I usually end up throwing so much purple shampoo on my hair that my bathroom is now ever-so-slightly violet-tinged. So, I was beyond excited to hear about the new Color Continue Collection that helps maintain your look – and beyond excited to trial it too.

"The expert colourist explained that if I followed her rules to the letter, I would keep yellowness at bay. Sold – I left the salon with the creamy, illuminated hair I'd always dreamed of, determined to stick to Vanessa's guidelines and see if I could be just as happy with the look a few months later. She also recommended the Moroccanoil Dry Shampoo Light Tones for those days I haven't got time to wash my hair.

"Spoiler alert: I am. I'm not entirely sure if it's the Moroccanoil Protect & Prevent Spray that I have literally applied every single morning (even when time is of the essence and I just can't be bothered) or if it's the combination of all the different steps, but I still LOVE my colour! As you can see from the photos, the roots have grown out but there are none of the brassy/yellow tones that invariably accompany them. And all without any purple shampoo – not a drop! My bathroom might even look a bit less violet-y, which is just an absolute triumph.

"I'm truly delighted with the colour. I feel like a complete colour protection regimen is something that the industry has really been missing and I'm delighted that Moroccanoil has corrected it – I can't go back!"

We rounded up the best dry shampoo on the market and tested the sprays, powders, and foams on fine, straight hair, and thick, curly hair. Here are our favorites:

    1. Dove Refresh + Care Dry Shampoo

Dove Refresh + Care Dry Shampoo (Photo: Reviewed / Jackson Ruckar)

Dove's dry shampoo leaves hair feeling almost suspiciously clean, closer to the freshness of a real shampoo than any other product we tested. The spray is fine and leaves behind little to no visible residue or chalky buildup in any hair type, from thin, blonde hair to thick, dark locks. The spray doesn't weigh hair down or stiffen it up, but on the flip side, it doesn't add too much volume, either. It has the recognizably fresh scent of Dove products that so many know and love. If you're looking for clean, fresh-feeling hair, Dove’s dry shampoo won't disappoint.

    2. DryBar Detox Dry Shampoo

DryBar Detox Dry Shampoo (Photo: Reviewed / Jackson Ruckar)

Detox DryBar dry shampoo is the quintessential dry shampoo: it adds high-impact texture and volume, and zaps grease and oil with just a little spritz. It’s amazing and effective. It has the brand's classic, musky salon scent that can be perfumey, if not overpowering at times. It leaves behind some residue that can leave roots feeling a little chalky after use, but the trade-off is incredible volume. The spray comes in both light and dark tones to match your hair color. Keep in mind you can buy 6 bottles of Dove for the price of one Detox, so it may not be the best choice for the budget-conscious consumer, but it does work as a two-in-one freshener and styler.

    3. MorroccanOil Dry Shampoo

Moroccanoil dry shampoo is great for dry, dehydrated, or curly hair. It's infused with argan oil, so it moisturizes as it de-greases and it actually leaves hair feeling clean and silky instead of chalky and dull, while still adding some volume. It comes in both light and dark tones to match hair, and a little scalp massage totally eliminates any visible residue. Its light vanilla scent is not overwhelming and testers noted that it "smells absolutely delicious," and "the best of the bunch." While it doesn’t soak up as much oil as DryBar’s Detox, it’s a great option for those with dryer locks or scalp issues.

    4. Oribe Gold Lust Dry Shampoo

Oribe dry shampoo is lightweight, invisible, and doesn't add any grip or weight to your hair. Made with watermelon and lychee, it has a very faint, slightly citrusy smell and it leaves almost no residue behind: most dry shampoo leaves behind a white dust that must be massaged in, but Oribe is undetectable on contact in even dark hair, yet eliminates all signs of oil. In that way, its performance is similar to Dove's. It does what it's promised, but at an exorbitant price: plus, the spray comes out jet-engine fast, which can feel wasteful for such an expensive product.

    5. Psssst! Instant Dry Shampoo

Psssst! Instant Dry Shampoo (Photo: Freeman Psssst!)

Psssst! dry shampoo has been a drugstore staple for years. It leaves hair feeling light after use, leaving behind some product buildup though hair doesn't feel too chalky or heavyâ€"however, it doesn't do a great job at reducing the appearance of oil or adding volume and texture. It gets the job done in a pinch, but there isn’t anything remarkable or life-changing about it.

Get Psssst! Instant Dry Shampoo for $6.99 at Ulta

Celebrity Colorist Lorri Goddard Shares Tips on How to Keep Your Hair Hue Pristine This Summer

    Rosie Huntington-WhiteleyRosie Huntington-Whiteley/Instagram

If you color your hair and you have trouble getting your hue to "stick" you might be into Moroccanoil's new launch: the brand has a new Color Complete Collection that's all about maximizing retention.  To celebrate, the brand brought hairstylist Lorri Goddard on board as their first ever celebrity colorist — a major move considering she's the hands behind some of the brightest and peppiest blondes (looking at you Reese, Charlize, Kirsten, and RHW ) and sun-kissed brunettes (cough, Emmy Rossum and Rachel Bilson, cough). We caught up with the color guru and she gave her tips to keeping your color pristine, the trends you will see this summer and the secret to protecting your hair from the pool this summer!

But first a little about the collection (which is available for presale now ahead of its official launch on May 1): it starts at the salon with Moroccanoil ChromaTech Prime and ChromaTech Post which work together to maximize the amount of color your hair takes in. Then, once you head home, Moroccanoil Color Continue Shampoo and Conditioner are meant restore and repair hair that has been color-treated, while Moroccanoil Protect & Prevent Spray works as to neutralize free radicals generated by pollution and environment while absorbing daming UB rays to fight against color fade and brassiness. According to the brand, after 10 washes, the Color Complete Collection extends color life and vibrancy by 100%.

Now read on for a little more on the products and tips for keeping your hair looking its best from Goddard!

Stylish: It's spring! What are the colors you see having a major moment this season and into summer?Lori Goddard: After years of everyone asking for ash-tones and cooler colors, we're finally seeing a return to warmer tones. Buttery, bright blondes and caramel hues for brunettes!

Stylish: What's the secret to keeping highlighted brown hair from getting brassy or orange?LG: Unfortunately, a lot of brassiness is caused by things out of our control due to the environment, pollution and UV damage. The best thing you can do is use color protection products to keep the integrity of the color and protect from environmental damage. But,also, a big mistake is people wash their hair with water that is way too hot, which causes color to fade. Start washing your hair with cooler water.

Stylish:What's the best way to protect your hair from chlorine at the pool?LG: Easy! You need to put a product on your hair that acts like a sponge for the chlorine. I advise using a hair oil for this.

Stylish: What's the next rainbow hair trend?LG: Pinks and purples will continue to reign supreme!
